What we do

The Motion Picture Industry Benevolent Association of Queensland was established by a cross section of industry personnel to assist present and past members of the industry (and/or their immediate families) who incur financial stress through ill health, loss of employment, accident, death or other misfortune. 

The Fund is a recognised charitable organisation with income tax exempt status and was registered as an Incorporated Association (no.) in …….. 

Where does the Association derive its income?

The MPIBAQ income is derived from fundraising and donations from individuals, film industry employees and companies. Donations are welcome at any time and those over $2 or more are fully tax deductible.

Who we are

MPIBAQ board members hail from various industry sectors spanning cinema exhibition, film distribution, production and post-production. Members include currently employed and retired industry professionals. All board members are volunteers.
